A Anvisa intensificou, em 2025, suas fiscalizações sobre suplementos alimentares e alimentos industrializados, resultando na suspensão de mais de 66 produtos por irregularidades graves que colocam em risco a saúde pública.
Entre os principais motivos estão:
- Falsificação e contaminação (ex.: Whey Protein com Staphylococcus aureus)
- Ausência de registro sanitário
- Ingredientes não autorizados, como piperina, ora-pro-nóbis e cogumelos funcionais
- Rotulagem enganosa e alegações terapêuticas ilegais
